Iriis Types
Look at your eyes closely in a mirror and pick the
description from below that best applies to your irises

Lymphatic
Iris Colour & Description: Blue, pale blue or grey. Loose, wavy, random fibres.

Haematogenous
Iris Colour & Description: Brown to deep brown. Velvety appearance.

Biliary
Iris Colour & Description: Blue base with brown overlay. Can first appear brown, but blue tones are visible on closer inspection.

Neurogenic
Iris Colour & Description: Blue, pale blue or grey. The fibres are densely packed and look to be pulled very tight. Can also be densely packed and wavy.

Weak Connective Tissue
Iris Colour & Description: Blue, grey, occasionally brown. Very loose and widely spaced fibres, forming 'honeycombs'.

Daisy
Iris Colour & Description: Blue, brown or mixed. Fibres form a flower leaf shape in a regular pattern around the pupil.

Larvate Tetanic
Iris Colour & Description: Brown (rarely, blue) with concentric rings (complete or half-rings) around the iris. Some lines can radiate out from the pupil.

Hydrogenoid
Iris Colour & Description: Blue or grey with white cotton wool-like puffs around the iris. These puffs can be cream, yellow-ish or orange.

Uric Acid
Iris Colour & Description: Blue or occasionally brown (blue eyes can appear green). Whitish-grey clouds around the iris.

Lipaemic
Iris Colour & Description: Blue or brown with a cloudy, milky ring around the outside of the iris (can be a half-ring).
