Analysis
Constitution - Disposition - Diathesis

For an iridology analysis we consider the following aspects of the iris, which, when taken together, can possibly indicate certain health problems:

  • Constitution
This is derived from the colour of the iris and indicates general health tendencies (e.g. people with blue eyes can tend towards mucus or catarrh).
  • Disposition
The structure of the iris and how the fibres are arranged give more information about predisposition to certain illnesses (e.g. concentric rings can indicate tension).
  • Diathesis
This relates to certain markings on the eye and again creates a more complete picture of the health of the person (e.g. yellowish-white cloudy flecks can indicate weak kidneys).

Iridology also looks for different markings and pigmentation within the iris, which can indicate problems with particular organs (e.g. orange markings can indicate blood sugar problems).

Iris Types

As with all diagnostic tools - iridology gives a general indication and does not replace professional advice. If you have any health concerns visit your GP.
